Faculty Research & Grants

Since May 2008, our faculty have written or edited nearly 35 books, published almost 140 articles and reviews, and given nearly 250 conference presentations or invited talks – some of which were given in partnership with Stonehill students as a part of the Stonehill Undergraduate Research Exprerience (SURE) program.

In the past decade, Stonehill faculty have received several significant grants. They have also expanded interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary programs and established a Department of Physics. Selected grant highlights include:

Davis Educational Foundation
  • $400,000+ to establish the Center for Teaching & Learning and Office of Community-Based Learning
  • $125,000+ to the Department of Visual & Performing Arts
Fulbright & Fulbright Scholar Programs
  • $75,000 Fulbright-Hays travel grant to China
  • First faculty member to receive 2 Fulbright scholar awards
