CURRENT STATUS There is no emergency at Stonehill College. The campus is operating under normal conditions. UPDATE (Saturday, February 9, 9:45 p.m.) The campus network and all technology services were unavailable starting around 12:00 am Saturday due to the power outage and a subsequent generator failure. The network, web site, employee email and most other services were restored around 4:30 pm on Saturday. myHill was restored at 8:30 pm. Also, the College will be bringing in additional crews to assist with snow clean-up beginning tomorrow morning. We thank you for your patience. UPDATE (Saturday, February 9, 3:15 p.m.) The Roche Dining Commons will be open for dinner tonight from 4:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Hill will be closed- we apologize for the inconvenience. UPDATE (Saturday, February 9, 9:00 a.m.) We are working to restore power/networks on campus. Dining Commons staff are also working to get to campus. The power is on at the Roche Dining Commons and other parts of campus. Our facilities staff are working diligently to get roads and paths cleared on campus. Students, please use caution if heading outside. In the event of an emergency, students can reach Campus Police by dialing 508-565-1000 or 508-942-2998. We will provide updates throughout the day. Emergency Notification System (Hill Alert)
Stonehill utilizes our Hill Alert emergency notification system to quickly and efficiently send students, faculty, and staff a text message containing important information when a campus emergency occurs.
We encourage community members with text enabled cell phones to provide a cell phone number to participate in the Hill Alert system.
